EU–Mongolia Business and Investment Forum Signals New Opportunities for European Companies

In October 2025, the first EU–Mongolia Business and Investment Forum was held in Ulaanbaatar, bringing together over 700 participants from European and Mongolian business, financial, and government sectors. The forum marked a significant step toward deepening economic cooperation between the EU and Mongolia.

With participation from more than 70 European companies, the event facilitated new partnerships in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, agritech, digital services, and industrial innovation. Business-to-business meetings and investment discussions highlighted Mongolia’s growing potential as a regional economic partner.

The forum reflects the EU’s broader strategy of promoting private-sector-led growth in partner countries while opening new markets and diversification opportunities for European companies.
