EIF Strengthens Europe’s Late-Stage Tech Ecosystem Through Strategic Transatlantic Investment

In April 2025, the European Investment Fund (EIF) announced its participation as a strategic investor in the AVP Growth Fund I, a transatlantic growth fund focused on late-stage European technology companies.

The investment forms part of the European Tech Champions Initiative, which aims to strengthen Europe’s ability to scale innovative companies globally. The fund targets high-growth sectors such as artificial intelligence, fintech, and biotechnology, while attracting both European and international institutional investors.

This initiative enhances access to large-scale growth capital and supports European scale-ups in becoming globally competitive players without relocating outside Europe.
