EU Business Hub Programme Opens Japanese and South Korean Markets for European Companies

In May 2025, the European Union launched the EU Business Hub – Japan and Republic of Korea Programme, aiming to support up to 1,000 European companies through 20 targeted business missions by 2027. The initiative is designed to help EU firms enter two of the world’s most advanced and competitive markets.

The programme focuses on high-growth sectors including green technologies, low-carbon solutions, digital innovation, medical devices, and healthcare technologies. Participating companies receive market insights, cultural and regulatory guidance, and tailored business matchmaking services to facilitate long-term commercial partnerships.

By combining strategic coaching with direct B2B engagement, the EU Business Hub strengthens European companies’ ability to establish a sustainable presence in East Asia, turning internationalisation into a structured and supported business process rather than a high-risk expansion effort.
